So I am looking for a new truck and came across an '05 2wd CC SB Chevy 2500 D-Max...it may be an 06, but I think its an '05.... anyway, it has 66k miles and I am just curious....how different is the 2by and 4 by suspension on these trucks? both are t-bar which I am not happy about but oh well... also what issues with these years?

Well Dunnes it is good to hear you have come to your sences. If it is an 06 it easy to tell just look in the window and see if the shifter has the togle switch for manual shifting that means it is and 06 and a 6spd. By 06 even in 05 I beleive they got the cooling problems fixed they had some overheating problems in 04.5. The suspension is very similar share most if not all of the parts with the 4bys. Sounds like agood truck to me though.

05 and 04 have the same issues, same vehicle.

06 is a very different truck. 2wd vs 4wd: basically the same suspension.
