i personally like 1995, good block, nice interior, less electronics with OBD I, cheap, as it has the PMD, if you get manual, it still has the external slave, etc.
Only bad part is that 95 still has the dumpy airbox, upgrade to 97+ round, and you are good to go!

My advise is when you find one get GMTDScantech if it's a 94-95, or if it's 96 up CarCode is a cheap bi-directional laptop scanner. AutoEnginuity may be a better scanner but more $'s
