Other than the fix being done for dowel pin that gets blown through the timing cover is there anything to look out for when looking at a 2WD AT 12valve?

Biggest thing is gonna be the torque converter.

The stock TC's in the 2nd Gen's SUCKED!

That's THE weakest link in it.

Otherwise, you'll do fine with a 12V.

This solved itself as I found a 1993 Chevy to swap parts with from my totaled truck. So I am not going down this road.
