Little help with headlight adjustment

Installed new grill & light/marker assembly in the Tahoe yesterday.

The 2 screws that protrude out the top of the headlight boxes are they the adjustment screws or are they they for something else?

Gonna take another look at the old ones today & futz around with some more...

Just thought maybe someone here could shed some light...literally LOL

my adjuster were siezed up when I tried to adjust them the first time. Took a little patience to get them unsiezed and lubed up.

Mine are brand new...and they are easy enough to adjust, after I figured out what knobs to turn LOL

Thanks AK yea the old ones are all seized up.

Gonna work on the old ones see if I can free em up, they are going on the neighbors old 91. His are past seized & these ole ones will be an improvement over what he has on there now, he don't drive much at night, thankgod!

so which nobs do what. i to just put new head lights in and cant figure it out. i figured out the up and down adjuster but what i cant seem to get to work is the left and right.

here are the adjusters

The adjuster far right (outer) is for horizontal position of the beam.

The other one at bottom is for azimuth

How about explaining it in "UP/Down" and "Right/Left" adjustments?

The adjustments on the projector headlights I purchased are not working. I've got them set to acceptable positions, but there really is no movement when I use the adjusters.

Here is how to adjust them with out paying,, or having an expensive unit to do so.
Info from an ol' timer that worked a gm back in the day.

With vehicle on level ground, measure from ground to center of headlamp. then measure the distance between the 2 lamps. Mark this measurement on the wall and back vehicle up 20ft from wall. on level surface. then aim lights to the marks. They WILL be spot on! :agreed:

perhaps this pic from the bottom will help. Middle adjuster adjusts the light vertically by pushing/pulling on the bottom of the light. The end one adjust the left left or right by pushing/pulling on the end of the light
