Lifting GMC bumper

I lifted my gmc bumper so i could cut that ugly plastic piece out...
Got a shit load of washers and longer bolts. Cut brackets to clear frame and cut the plastic.. was a pain in the ass.

It looks real good Caleb...but it takes away that HD look that only the HD's had...

When I converted mine to the newer front end ...I did however seriously tighten up that gap between the black plastic and the chrome bumper that seems to be prominent with the GMC's fit and finish...

I didn't dig the chrome, black, then chrome again I had.. If bumper was black then I woulda kept it.

maybe you could send that spacer part off to be chromed

I kinda liked that space there. Like Paul said, it sets off the HD trucks from the rest.
