My radiator just sprung a little leak. I was just wondering if anybody had any suggestions on type, style, brand, or material.

The aftermarket is full of junk , so be careful as to what you buy

Visteon is a manufacture that makes good ones at reasonable prices.

The factory units have the tubes aluminum brazed into the header plates.
The cheap replacements have the tubes sealed in with an epoxy resin.

Once the epoxy cracks (and it will) the radiator is garbage.

I bought two new rads this summer from a local wholesaler.

The visteons (one for DaHoooley and one for the 94 Burb) cost $235 each.

OEM or better quaility.
The only difference I found was that the tranny cooler ports were larger than my old rads and I needed to use the supplied adapter fitting.

The factory aluminum/Plastic Rads are not worth spending any $$$$ to try and fix.

Get a fresh visteon and be happy

Missy

Yeah I think you can only get them with the bigger ports. I ran into that as well. Probably didn't want to make both so cheaper to use the later model big ones and use a bushing for the old apps.

Thanks for the info, ladies, and gentlemen! I'll do some looking then. I'm not really looking for pretty, functionality is my specialty.
