I just drove to NJ to empty out a storage locker. It contains my old GM block, and I forgot the bolts to attach the hoist to the block. Does anybody know the size offhand so I can get some at HD. Thanks

On a bare block the deck holes the heads bolt to are metric 12x1.75, bell housing to block are 3/8 NC on any I've come across that are OEM castings.

I would have to check on any others

I was lucky enough to have left a coolant block off plate on block. The bolts were 10 X 1.50 pitch for the intake. My POS HF hoist raised the block just high enough to go into bed of truck. I had the truck at max weight and the truck didn't seem to notice power wise. The fuel guage did.

so far every 6.5L I have pulled (not alot. :) ) seems to all be metric.

From what I understand, from the very beginning with the 6.2L, the whole 6.xL IDI engine family is metric fasteners.
