Instrument panel dimmer switch.

Tomorrow I'm installing my guage pod on the pillar and am going to use power from the dimmer wire. I am unable to find my service manual or the worthess haynes manual for scematics. Does anyone know what color wire it is ? I'm trying to save time and unwilling to buy another manual as it will turn up as soon as I don't need it, like everything else on this project. I won't have batteries in till Friday, then I'll figure it out with multitester. Thanks in advance. Will post pics of this whole project as soon as it lives. Its a giant money and time pit till then. This is a 97 2500.

I used a fuse tap and used a fuse in the dash fuse panel. Don't remember which one offhand

I have one of those in my tool chest I had long forgotten about. Thanks, I havent started this truck since fall of 08. I figure it may be a runner on the weekend. Im worried about what has gone south that I didn't replace.
