I found this forum thru Dodge Cummins forum, and figured I would stop by to learn or share or whatever the case maybe. I am a trucker by trade for about 30 years. In my off time I tow my 40ft KZ toybox for atv trips and camping.Talk to you all later.

Thanks.

Howdy! How you like that 6.7?

Just want to thank everyone for the warm welcome, took me a little while to respond, been truckin. Jcool; I really like the 6.7's power and the in dash exh-brake works great, a really good factory installed option. That being said. I really wish the Dodge boys would have backed off on the 2010 emissions BS on these trucks.I can only immagine the power these things would really make if they weren't being choked out so bad.Well when I don't care about my warranty anymore I'll just delete it all.See all L8TR, JT.

awesome. My neighbor has a 06 mega with the 5.9. Says the dealer complains about problems with the 6.7 but I have yet to see any on here really other than lower mileage than the 5.9. Then again he may just be blowing smoke if he is jealous of the new motor

Well I tell u what jcool, I have about 8500kilometers( approx 5200 miles) on this truck, and my last tank, mostly hiway miles running at around 65-75 mph I got 18.5 mpg/ cdn( approx 17.5 us) so I don't think thats too bad for a just barely broke in truck. Can only imagine w/o all the green crap.

Not bad at all for running at that speed. I really think the new 6spd auto would make up for any loss of mileage compared to the 5.9. I just wish they would make a long bed factory on the mega cabs. my next truck has to be a long bed.... little bed is almost useless.....
