Humvee expedition

I am over 200 lb.
the older guy is department of interior geologist,

The only problem going with him is that my humvee ends up carrying 400 lb of rocks

he finds all kinds of rocks and shoves in corners I didn’t even know my humvee had

I’ll post videos.

I'm down to a svelte 305 lol
I was 399 for years, or as I use to say 2 big macs away from 400!

Those are beautiful pictures!
Nothing compares to a clear, moonless night away from light pollution.
The stars look like diamonds spread across black velvet.
That was my favorite part about being underway in the Navy.
Those clear, moonless nights. Of course, a full moonrise is awesome as well.
I'd look at the moon through the "big eyes", large powerful hard mounted binoculars, you could see individual craters and stuff. You can see it moving in its orbit...

Unfortunately Las Vegas lights are really starting to affect the dark desert sky.
In this picture you can see the light pollution in the background, I am using Nikon D3400 camera.

Come out here to Nebraska and the Sandhills region, the skies at night are spectacular!
