How would you turn over the motor?

I was wondering if your starter happened to wear away enough of a section of the flex plate, what would be your preffered method of turning over the motor in order to get some fresh teeth exposed so that the starter could grab?

Shouldn't take much of a bump. Slide under and grab the crank pulley by the 'X' on the front. You should be able to get a small movement by hand.

ahhh. one of the reasons I buy what I buy. My answer is get it rolling and pop the clutch. :) but yeah, for the auto, I would try to roll it over via alt. pulley just to get it going. maybe a prybar between two front pulley bolts.
