a TBI chevy with a 5 speed is just a good simple truck, I have my good ol 91, and we just picked up for dad a 1992 C3500 5.7L 5spd 2wd with 70 percent Firestone Transforce HTs out the back, and a 8 foot flatbed, all for 700 bucks. drove home, knocked horribly, put a new knock sensor and wiring pigtail on, played with the distributor a little, and it doesnt knock any more! has god knows how many miles, ODO quit at 169K. Looking forward to some good use out of her!
