Glad to join this forum. I am a total newb when it comes to mechanical. I recently retired with my wife to a custom built MH (I am a carpenter). We are both disabled but we travel the country as best we can. Right now we are broke down in Texas due to another transmission failure. Hope to get some good info here.

This is our third transmission failure.

Welcome to the Truck Stop!

We have some trany experts on here, just give them time to reply.

Wish you luck.

Welcome to the forum, Boxer! Lots of the guys are very knowledgeable about Transmission inquiries (I'm not one of them!), but I know enough to understand they will want some more details...

Can you take a minute or two to fill out your signature and describe your motorhome? We'll need to know make, morel, year, etc, so click on the signature link (in my signature!) and start describing your rig!

Next, we'll need to hear about the symptoms - what is it doing (or NOT doing?)

Help the guys to 'see' your truck, and they'll be sure to have some ideas for you.

Welcome!

Jim

Boxer, I would try ajusting your TV cable like was said in the other thread. If you were closer I could take a look, but I really don't know much about the 700. If it was a 4l80e I could hook you up though.

Welcome to The Truck Stop! Best of luck on your transmission woes and thank you very much for your service to our country!
