anyone here using or veiwing this part of the site these days? would be nice if there were. just got a new to me 06 ford ccsb 6.0 last week. can't do much to it for awhile got a 60month/60,000 mile warranty on it too. I still have my 6.5 though couldn't turn loose of it.

i did notice that most of the post here are kind old.

I realize that yours is new to you, but has it had any head gasket work done?

No, it hasn't had any thing but oil changes done. it only has 16,000 miles on it. the PO only useed it to pull his 5th wheel. almost bought both the truck and trailer but I was a little late on the trailer. it had already been spoken for. nothing done to it but what is listed in the discription.

From what I've heard from an acquaintance that has an '06, he has had no problems with his in 65k plus miles but he did do a full 5" exhaust and EGR delete (which was a known problem). You might want to check in with a PS forum to make sure.

I agree with you about the problems as well. I have heard the same things.
