now here is the catch my alternator, starter, and battery is new even ran new wires on battery an alternator an to the block on fire wall i've put a shorty wire from alt. to the battery . my voltage meter is still saying that the charging system is not working so i jumped my one wire to my batt wire an light went out but the volt meter is still jacked up how do i fix this without going to a shop i'm a disabled vet an cant afford anything but my own skills this has me baffeled please help o an i know most or all of yall have deisels but mine is a 5.7L
