Hi, My name is Jeremy and I have a couple of 6.5 diesel trucks. I found this site while trying to repair one of them a while back and found a lot of useful information and helpful insight. Figured I might sign up and return the favor to someone someday.

Thanks.

Ok here goes, This is my 92 Chevy Hauler/Play truck gone through some changes since pictures but I can tell you about it if interested.

Nice. The only thing that caught my eye is on the red one maybe consider swaping out the flat panel air filter. They dont flow well compared to a round one.

Also hope you saved the pyo rims for the replacement truck. Love thos rims.

Will, the air intake is all custom made 4 inch from turbo to box. The panel is just there to act as some what of a heat shield from under hood temps. I have a 4 inch inlet cone amsoil air filter inside about the same length as the panel. basically the max that will fit in it length and width. Under the hood scoop I also have vent holes to relieve some under hood temps as well, really helped with heavy gooseneck hauling. Along with intercooling and WMI. Yes, I kept those rims it has them on now just don't have updated pictures.

Well, its just as scissors hoist with extra bracing on truck box to prevent flex. Electric over hydraulic motor turned up a bit to lift the loads like on the red and black truck. It does very well I wouldn't be without one ever again. back on truck frame I made hinges similar to what you would find on a dump truck. Also installed extra over load springs that I can engage and disengage when hauling. try to keep somewhat of a sensible ride.

Thanks Will, Both trucks have been great. The kicker is I found both of them in a farmers field not running bought one, one year and fixed it up and came back the next year and got the other one.
