I just found this site looking for answers about my LB7 Duramax. This is my first diesel and I have just pulled engine apart doing Head Gaskets and injectors. I have never torn a engine down so everything I am doing I'm learning from you guys and other forums. So thank you in advanced!!

Welcome to the truck stop Justin.
My first suggestion I usually make to just about anyone, get the book for that truck, even a chiltons or a Haines will get You by.
