Hello Friends,

my "Dinosaur" has a little electrical Problem.
My Heater and my 4WD and my Cruise Control comes and goes.
I have checked everything on Corrosion, loose Cables and Ground.
Alright so far.
Now i read the 4 WD Actuator is a thermal Actuator...why thermal...?
I have noticed when removing that becomes hot after a while.
Is this normal? What does it have to care?
Can you give me please another Tips what i could watch!

At the Time all works good...but the Winter is near ;-)

Thank you in advance...
Gunar

For the 4WD, click this and read the captions:

What do you mean by "heater comes and goes"? The air blows hot then cold, or the air blows out a different location on the dash, or the air stops blowing even though the blower motor is still spinning, or the motor stops spinning? Read this one:

You need to provide more description of the cruise control problem (noch Erklaerung). A failing PMD might cause cruise problems, but so could several other things. Where did you mount the PMD & heat sink?

Hi Steve,

I mean sometimes my Heater and my 4 WD Actuator works (and the light in the Display) and sometimes not.

When my Heater does not work and I drive with CC and than i turn the Heaterknob, than my CC goes out.

I turn the Heaterknob back and my CC works.

My PMD works...it must be an electrical Problem which I can't find.

It is also not dependent on the Weather.

Greetings...
Gunar
