There are four of us heading to West Virginia on Thurs. to ride the Hatfield McCoy trails. Was wondering if anyone had ridden these and their thoughts.
at our RV dealership we have sold several toyhaulers to folks who use them to get their gear to WV .... every story I've heard from them has been extremely positive
Neighbor goes all the time and has nothing but good to say about this place has been trying to get us to go hopefully will find time to soon. Be interested to hear your comments on it when you return and have fun.
Just an update on our ride. we had a great time. There are basically 4 different levels of difficulty for the trails. We rode all four levels. The extreme difficult were not to bad except for all of the rocks. The weather was great and we met alot of other riders. We stayed in the town of Mann. If i were to go back I think we would stay in a different town. Mann has only 2 restraunts (wendys and hardees) and not much of anything else. It was cool being able to ride into town but there just wasn't much there. Overall it was a good time and nice to ride some different trails other than what we have around home.
Each trail is different. We rode out of the rockhouse trail head. Some trails are .5 miles and I think the longest one on that trail system was arond 8 or 9 miles. We rode 20 miles one evening for about three hours and the next day we rode 50 miles in about 6 hours but that includes stopping and talking and taking pictures. The entire Rockhouse trail system had about 90 miles of different trails.
