i replaced the crank position sensor yesterday, truck would not start, talked to a diesel mechanic he told me to work the throttle while trying to crank it, well i did and now the truck is real weak and it blows black smoke like a frieght train............anybody have any suggestions for me to try, thanks in advance guys, im trying to learn as fast as possible about these 6.5's

it started dying a couple months ago, the lift pump was bad so i replaced it, been running fine ever since, then it starts dying, lift pump still running, didnt show any codes SES light not on, i was reading around on the net and saw it could be the CPS so i changed it and it is real weak and smokes bad, plus the SES light is on now and it shows a code of PO335 which is the CPS

there's been a few cases where the CPS was installed 180* out. it's either that or a bad new part. I suspect it wasn't the issue originally
