It's been a long time since I've posted anything here, but keeping up with everyone's successes, failures, and experiments keeps my 6.5 addiction alive and well. You guys are way beyond my skill level and understanding with this platform, but I figured I share some pics from my build and the latest addition. I have 12k on the build so far which has been heavy towing and "spirited" driving. I love my truck! I put it to bed for the duration of winter and sure do miss driving it!

Piping was from a universal cac kit bought off of eBay. I had to flare the ends to keep the silicone boots in place.

Awesome, I'll look into snagging a universal kit soon then. I was going to throw a non ferrous metal cutting blade in my chop saw if anything needs to be trimmed down, and use a bead roller to flare the cut ends.

You will need to use 2nd gen CAC elbows if using 2nd gen pipes however different sized elbow is need for different sized CAC piping this is were you start. https://www.siliconeintakes.com/bending-reducer/?osCsid=ca779abaa54ad62fe30deea5ef913472

I already have 3.5" to 3" reducing elbows ready to order. I just need to get the IC in the truck so I can see if I need 45 or 90 degree elbows.

Yeah, it has been a long time since you last posted on here @93detroit . I thought that maybe you'd sailed off the edge of the Earth like Captain Jack Sparrow!

As for the water/meth system, the tech at Devil'sOwn assured me that a 5gph nozzle would be plenty for my setup. So I started with the 7gph nozzle they sent me "just in case". Using -20 washer fluid and water (1:1) for about 15% meth, I noticed minimal effect on egt and power. So I went up to a 12gph nozzle and immediately had to up the setting for the pressure switch as it was coming on @ 7psi ( noticed a white haze coming out the tailpipe on the interstate). It's coming on around 11psi now (14-15 max). My short marked course for acceleration shows a couple mph improvement, but I haven't towed heavy with the 12 yet. With the 7gph in and the pump maxed out, I saw about 100deg drop in egt when towing 14k up a mountain. Keep in mind that this is an unopened 2006 GEP takeout with 20:1 comp or more. I don't think I would need as much water with lower compression.
