I was going to a meeting in Ft Collins today and as I pulled to a stop light a cop had turned and gone ahead of me in the direction I would go when I got the arrrow to turn. As I set at the light a nice big black lifted Toyota pulled up beside me and was making all kinds of noise and suggested he wanted to run them. I looked and he was a really young guy and wanting to sow some oats I guess. WELL , the light turned green to turn left but the light at the next corner was still red so I just went as normal to the next light. When the light turned green the race was on.. As I pulled away he was not going to take any prisoners but as we were coming up to where the lane narrowed down I seen the cop a couple blocks ahead on the side so I backed off just a little to let him fly by,,, Until he got up next to the cop who was waving him over, I got to drive by and he was on the side of the road having a talk. But for a 55 yr old guy I had a ball stomping on it again and I have not done that in a Loooong time. Next time I may as well finish what I started to do but this was bitter sweet:devil:
