H2 question

Hey im about to pull the trigger on some H2s and I have some extra 265/70/17s layin around. My question is that tire going to be to narrow for the H2 rim? I havent seen anybody running less than a 285 so I was curious.

I think they will be a tad narrow, but will probably work.

I haven't tried them - running 295's now - but I have seen pics and other write ups elsewhere where guys were doing just that. Look good too.

Actually H2 wheels should work fine with those tires.

H2 wheels are 17 x 8.5

The approved rim width for LT265/70R-17 tires is 7.0 to 9.0 inches, so they should work with the H2 wheels.

I am running 265/70/17 Yokohama Geolanders, and they fit very nicely on my H2s.

I've run 265/70-17's on my H2's as well. No problems.
