Anybody know off hand if the squirters (Injectors) for an LB7 from GMPartsDirect.com are warrantied at all?? I poked around on their website and I couldnt find anything....

I found the below on another GM Parts web site by Googleing "gm parts warranty". I would definitely ask them where in the web site they show the warranty information just to be on the safe side.

Not that I want to have this whole injector conversation again, but I thought I had a few more going out in the passenger bank, since I replaced the drivers 4 in november of 2009. After hooking the laptop up and checking the balance rates, I have two bad injectors in the #2 and #4 cylinders. Which if my memory serves me correctly 2,4,6,8 are the drivers side and 1,3,5,7 are the passenger bank. All this to say that two of the brand new injectors I put in that I got from gmpartsdirect.com are already bad. I am not going to say that I am not to blame, but i took my time and did a good job so this deal is rather frustrating. On top of the fact that they are only about 5-6 months past warranty.

Balance rates with engine warm +/-4 in park, +/-6 drive, at idle.
Are you having run issues? How bad are the balance rates?
I at one time had two that were out of spec. #4 and #7 IIRC.
I bought some Lucas Fuel Treatment and dumped 8 ounces of that and 8 ounces of Power Service in before a fill up and ran it for a week. I checked the balance rates after that and they had returned to normal.
I would give something a try before ripping into it again. From hearing stories about GM Parts Direct I don't think they will be much inclined to help out either.

Well fellas. I absolutely bombed my injectors with Stanadyne, Lucas Injector Cleaner, and Power Service. I bet I put three or four tanks through with various concoctions of each and used at least twice as much as asked for in each tank. No dice. Balance rates are still hovering around high 4.9+/- on my #2 & #4 injectors. Im selling this thing as fast as I can and going LBZ shopping.
