Maybe this is the wrong place to post this, this forum is hard to read on new IE beta version.

I know the new year started 4.5 months ago, but my truck hibernates all winter. Got rid of the step bars, added the stack. Still have to come up with a mount for it in the bed, likes to get crooked, and I realized how impossibly hard it is to miter cut a piece of 6" pipe on the a horizontal band saw, it started as a 48" piece of pipe now down to 30" after many botched cuts. lol

I got a DSLR camera this year, I always hated that my red trucks looked pink in pictures on my point and shoot Kodak, a DSLR is unbelievable difference, anyone one the fence, should just go ahead with a DSLR.

For comparison sake, last years look, notice the pinish color as opposed to the red.

Looks great! Are the tires on the new wheel a little smaller?

I'm trying to pick out wheels for my new truck, but it's a tough choice for me.

Nick that is one fine looking truck you have...Almost makes me want to get an LMM GMC

I know that feeling, but a truck as clean as yours with the 03+ styling makes me wish I kept my 05 sometimes. lol

There 305's they came out to about the same size as my 35" MTZ's that had 50% tread left, they look smaller though because of the black wheels and 20's vs 17's they are around 34" true height. I would have liked to go bigger with BFG at 325's I think they were around 35.5" true height, but they were around $600 more for vs 305's.

I understand about the price difference. I'm not looking forward to that part at all.

Truck looks great Nick!
We'll all get upstaged again at the next GTG---:hihi:

I gotta ask though... If you have the truck parked out in a rainstorm and go out to drive away, is there a big sploosh of soot water that blasts out of the stack at fire up?:D

Haven't had it on there long enough for a significant rain to happen, no problems though in light rain I think the water probably Burns off while its idling.

The truck looks absolutely awesome Nick! Great job.

As for the rain that collects, I read where some guys have drilled a small hole in the elbow to allow water to drain.

Truck looks great Nick! Really like the wheel/tire combo you got too. You're pictures turned out great.

And I agree, the DSLR cameras take out of this world pictures. I've taken about 50 pictures of my truck with a Canon DSLR and there is for sure a big difference in quality from any kind of point and shoot camera.

Nice trucks Nick. The bottom photo is just a little over-exposed. Too much light. Can be caused by many reasons, but just the way the camera metered on the truck. In any event, they are nice.

Looks Great!!!

I totally agree. I have a Canon P&S and a Sony A200 DSLR and the pictures are night and day.
