So I came across a db4. And some day soon I am going to pull it apart just to see what is in one and how it works. This will be a great learning experience for me and when it comes time to rebuild my db4 I am going to try to use any beefed up or better parts from the db4 in my ds4. Maybe I am crazy and will just end up with a pile of junk. Hopefully you pump gurus will chime in and send me in the right direction.
 
is it an 8 cylinder or 6 cylinder?

we have plenty of DB4's around the farm, they are 6 cylinder versions though on 140-180 hp tractors. if a guy could find a 8 cylinder DB4 you would really have something.
