FASS Water Seperator filter question

[12ga diesel]

I have just a fuzz shy of 10k on my FASS fuel pump and have been running the original water filter. Who has the FASS and how often should I change the filter? Or does it last a long time and all I need to do is just drain it?

I would drain it into a clean container and check it.
