I went to Disney World and rode the Test Track ride. In line you walk past futuristic vehicle stuff and they have this turbo engine on a stand. Is it based on anything real?

It has a big expansion tank thingie in the down pipe. Is it for EGR, a resonator, or have another use. Or is it just an imaginary engine?

Looks like the manifold cats off a Nissan. The kind that come apart and get ingested by the engine through the exhaust valves. This causes extreme wear and the rods to break. The broken rods splash oil on the hot cats burning the car to the ground.

Makes a warranty claim an insurance claim. A win-win for the environment and automaker. Big black smoke cloud and no warranty claim...
