I just had my codes checked and i had 3 egr codes and a P1093. My truck went into limp mode a few times this weekend pulling a trailer. Runs fine with no trailer. Will the egr codes cause it to go into limp mode or only the P1093. I have a race valve in, i need to change the fuel filter and maybe do the bottle test to make sure the race valve isnt leaking. Any other suggestions?

I agree with Bud. A 1093 is a fuel starvation code. The filter would be my first pick and I dont think that code would have anything to do with the EGR valve.

Then to solve the egr problems, would you guys just recommend blocking it off and putting the stick in there so it wont throw codes anymore? It is out of warranty.

Yes. I'm lazy and havent done mine yet either but someday I will. I never blocked my 04.5 LLY's either. It was something I was always meaning to do, just never got around to it.

Or if you decide to go with EFI live anytime soon, you could command it closed.
