I think he's talking about the recall... I heard that the Quad will still work after the reprogram, but other programmers seem to be having problems

Apparently, GM changed the operating system for our PCM's and some programmers will not work

I have had mine done, but completely stock and haven't noticed any difference.

Not here, mine runs fine. I HATE sitting and waiting for my truck or driving rentals. I'll wait until it does something goofy to me. As long as it's not going to start on fire, we're in good shape!!

Something to do with the anti-theft and flash memory that can be lost resulting in no el-starto.

Keep in mind fellas that all 07 owners and possibly 08 owners got the recall notice BUT only a certain VIN range is effected. I got the recall in the mail, but my truck doesn't need the flash due to my VIN not being in the effected range. I'll try and contact a guy I know so I can post the effected VIN's on here.
