Looking for the EID assembly elastomer insert drive info and what year it affected of the DB2 pumps to clarify a post of mine for "Ratman" I came across this goldmine.

Why you care: Surplus military or other DB2 equipped low mile engines could still have the old design that are known to fail.

DS troubleshooting. Calibration resistor ranges. DTC codes. No, not just the DTC's with stupid one line errors, but, a paragraph of conditions that cause it to set! :thumbsup:

Now you can understand how complicated the pumps are and why you want a Stanadyne dealer to work on yours after your troubleshooting has left only the IP or injectors. That and balanced injectors from a Stanadyne shop: none smoother running...
