i have a couple tune how does the dsp work.. do i have to have a switch or can i just use efi... and the tune everyone puts in the libray that say dsp will it will work the same with out dsp power wise.. i see couple people with dsp tune and say it make alot more with dsp than just loading it in.. please let me know about he dsp do i have to buy the switch or can i just get the memory card for efi and use it thanks alot.
 
The switches are cheap. All you do is plug it inot the ECM which can be a PITA but its not too bad. Then go into EFI Live under upgrade OS. And Select either DSP2 or DSP5. Then it will switch the OS and once you save it and flash it in your truck now has a DSP switch. The Tunes in the library will work. However without a DSP OS in your truck you will have mismatched OS'
