driving on highway, new engine?

Break in oil is for flat tappet engines.

Put in some new oil, start it up, check leaks, timing etc, go beat the crap out of it, seriously. Get some boost into her-BOOST seats rings, rings need pressure to seat otherwise you glaze them, then come back, change the oil and I go another 1000km,s, change it again and your good for 5K.

Diesels can take up to 10,000km's to fully seat the rings as diesel oil is so slimey, :thumbsup: Don't use synthetic until 10K or longer.
