EWC, I’m having a hard time understanding what your beef is with my opinions. You entered this forum string on your own free will, then you bounced all over the place with questions too which you don’t like the answers.
You made claims of good flow bench cfm flow numbers done by some mystery porting guru, when I challenged you on testing via an engine dyno pulls or track runs before during and after porting to document if the porting that was done indeed produced performance gains or not. You admitted there are none. All I did was point out to you that flow bench numbers are not all there is to properly porting heads. My best guess is you did not like that so you claim I insulted you.
For whatever reason, you decided to insult me today about my comprehending what I’m reading etc. while you clearly can’t grasp the reality that opinions are like anal orifices which everyone has one.
For the record, in all the decades the GM 6.2/6.5 N/A & turbo have been around the general consensus is that porting the cylinder heads is the least desirable modification for 99.999% of those who use them.
Aftermarket figured early on, it would not be a profitable endeavor to produce ported heads for an IDI diesel designed for work not performance. As evidence of my claim, I searched quite a few terms relating to porting the GM 6.2/6.5 N/A & turbo and a couple of names kept popping up over the many, many years and in all those years not one individual who claimed to port these heads could provide any proof whatsoever as too whether or not their porting increased performance perhaps you are one of those individuals hiding behind the site handle EWC.
The industry standard is using a good flow bench along with engine pulls and/or track runs before, during and after porting so EWC stop bull shi__ing those who don’t know any better about properly porting cylinder heads and confirming if the porting yielded positive or negative results.
You claim you’re sick of everyone claiming just go bigger with the turbo, exhaust, fuel etc. so I suggest you seek the professional help you so desperately need to deal with that admitted illness you have.
“HAVE A NICE DAY!”
