Delete Kit Experiences on LML and L5P Trucks What Would You Do Differently?

Hello everyone.

I’ve been researching delete kits for Duramax trucks and noticed there are a lot of opinions on complete kits versus sourcing parts and tuning separately. For those who have already gone down this road, what setup did you choose and why?

Looking back, is there anything you would do differently regarding parts quality, installation, tuning, drivability, reliability, or long-term maintenance?

I’m not looking for brand wars, just real world experiences from members who have spent time with their setups.

What were the biggest challenges, unexpected costs, or lessons learned? Any advice for someone still in the research phase would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance for any help

You're not going to find many folks willing to discuss such things publicly. Nothing personal, just general paranoia since the gov't/ epa has gone after shops and tuners in the past for violating emissions laws in a very heavy handed fashion.

Plus it seems most folks on here are more versed in the dinosaur engines that don't have such complex tuning or emissions equipment.
