Can someone tell me what the ideal inlet fuel pressure is for the DB pumps?

I know the DS likes 8-9psi at idle, which is what I've been running, I just want to make sure that it isn't too much. I tried searching with no luck.

Thank you
Nick

From every thing I've read you are correct. More psi messes with the timing.
On the ds series it's actually 8- 16 according to the rebuild paperwork Simon showed me.
