Anybody know what it cost's replace the injectors on a LB7?

Out of warranty

just guessing, but I think its between 4-6k at dealer. I just had mine done a while back I'll see if I can find the repair order

just got mine back from having the injectors replaced....... $4,300 for the injectors but then they also change the oil and filter and the fuel filter and that cost is above the 4,300

I can get you an estimate tomorrow at work. dunno right off the top of my head.

if your truck is under 200k they should have been warr....or if you did pay and it is under warr. GM will reemburse you the cost.

Whoaa. I must have a nice dealer. Well I know I do.

$2,806. Injectors were $1,960 for all 8. Labor was $538.24 and the rest was misc. gaskets and such.

I love my dealer, they must like me too. Every time im up there they ask me what Ive done to my truck and if Ive squeezed any more power out of it.

As for warrenty work, they will do anything they can to get your business even if it means them getting in trouble.

But they do have money to spare as the woman who owns all three of the dealerships is in the top 5 richest women in Wisconsin.

I should add that the mechanic up there has done over 20 sets of injectors so he can swap them pretty quick.

And also, when I got mine done in November I specifically had them look over the TSB. It stated that the tech had to replace ALL 8 injectors at no cost while still under warrenty. No typical aftermarket modification will void this special policy. Your truck doesnt have to show all symptoms, just enough for them to squeeze the warrenty out of GM.

If mine was out of warranty and stock replacements cost that much, I'd definetely go with better flowing aftermarkets.

So would I.

Unfortuneatly GM doesnt want to give you bigger ones under warrenty.

I joked around with my dealer and he actually tried seeing if he could sneak some in for an extra fee, but it was too risky and GM monitors this stuff pretty close.

Just Checked.
Injectors: $314 w/exchange
Labor: Somewhere around $800-$1000
+gaskets & other fluids, cleaner, etc.
Total should be somewhere around $4000

about 4 grand is right thats if they can get the feed lines off most won't add about $100 x 8 for new.

just under 4k for mine, that was last year (mar) and have put 80k miles on it since, now it is parked due to high fuel costs.....

Mine was $4200 before the warranty was extend but I got it back from GM. I had one injector replaced after the warranty was gone and it was $1200.

Next ones (if any) will be done by me and my son.

Does anyone know of a place to get the instructions for replacing the injectors?

found out why mine were so cheap. They dont get paid for their ful labor.

Now I know.

As for the link, PM me it and ill see if we want to alow it. We probably will,
