I posted this on an old thread, but I figured this might get more attention. Not the latest pump, but you can't beat the price.

FWIW, part #88894036 lists as applicable to the 96-99 model years where the #88894035 is listed as applicable to the 99-2002. Source GM parts finder cataloge http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/catalog/frameset.cfm (agree to the terms, continue and type in the part number and make (GMC in this case) or go the long way and break down by make, model, year and hen subcatagories. Good for research but the prices...nuff said).

The #88894035 pump was the one settled on by Heath during his tests for the kit he markets.

Still, $30 beats the heck out of the $280ish bucks the GMpartsdirect guys are asking (plus their shipping fees) if you're motor is running cool enough for what you're asking but you just need the pump replaced.
