changing out vacuum pump..have questions

i have the fender liner removed, as well as the intercooler tube to the turbo to make it easier. but i still have some questions


1. is there a way to loosen the belt to make this job easier?

2. the bolts holding it to the bracket look to be a male torx head? then below them, closer to the bracket, it looks to be a traditional bolt head. which one is used?
