Does anyone know how to change the cabin air filter? I have one, but I don't know how to change it, and the manual doesn't say squat. TIA

Is it for your 05? It might not have one! There pretty easy to do. I did one on my last 99 gasser. There is a small panel under the dash on the passenger side you remove. I think 3 screws hold it in? Remove the plastic panel and the filter pulls right out!

My 01 had one but my 06 does not. Must be one of the cost cutting measures the general employed. Like the lights under the hood and the glove box.

i think, keep in mind this is a think not a definite answer, that they stopped putting them in trucks after 02 or 03. when i went to do mine it said that they may or may not have put and access door to get to it. when i saw that i went to the guy that i purchased the truck from, he owns a shop, and had him do it for me. i am not going to F up my baby.

I agree, I'm 95% sure the cutoff was 03. I think it was Tom (The_Bac) who has an '03 he modded and has instructions for installing a cabin filter into.

My 05 does not have one. Tom (The_Bac) used to have kits for them, may still have some?

Not 100% sure, but I bet it's the same thing as the pickups. Pull it out and just compare them.
