Well to start off with when I was young I learned how to fix things from my dad at the age of 4 yrs old he would bring home starts.carbs, and gens from the gas station that he worked at. I was give the chance to tear them down and put them back together making sure that I did it right and no parts left over. Well though the years to follow I spent tearing down small engines you know like 3 & 1/2 hp biggs stuff like that! when I was nine I got my first chance a small block chevy that was it I was hooked. I would have to say that the best of my cars I had during my growing years was my 68 Dodge 500 2dr hardtop it had a 318 in it with a 192 thousand on it when I got it from my dad. I drive it for a couple of year when the engine finally went out on it so I put a 340 in it and wow she was back to life. Well after that things went in a hole different path and I have been away from street rods for some time now and I just bought a 1986 GMC s15 with a 350 in it. The truck for the year is in very nice shape but the engine well hear I go again my chance to do another rebuild. So in a nut shell thats about it for me.
