Has the stick gone bad or is there a difference between the LLY and LBZ boost sticks?

Had the LBZ airbox and MAF sensor update done by dealer 2 years ago under OH warranty. I have been running the stick prior to the OH warranty work was done and just recently had to take it off.

Since adding the LBZ mouth piece, I started getting the P0299? Under Boost error code. Taking the stick off has stopped the error from appearing.

Back to my original question, has the stick gone bad or is there a difference between the LLY and LBZ boost sticks?

There is no LBZ boost stick.

I think I was the first to run an LLY stick on an LBZ. I threw no codes and saw approximately 15 hp more with an Edge on level 6 on the Dyno. So, the LLY stick can work on an LBZ, and it would follow that it should work on an LLY with LBZ parts.

It is possible that the stick is good but is causing the code as it is supposed to trick the ECM into thinking boost is lower than it is. The stick and new parts just might be too much?

Stating the obvious, you did it plugged back in tightly on re-install?
