Adjustable boost

I have one that i made sitting in my tool box, never installed afraid that i'll explode the turbo.. And into days econenemy :D and no income do not want to fool around with what is not want broke :nono:

unfortunately for you tuning is the best way to make boost. heat creates the boost in you turbo. the best way to ensure the turbo is allowed to make full boost is to use the banks big head waste gate, then tune for the desired boost.

I know my stock tune would peak at 22 pounds of boost. With my current tune after maxing out the boost tables it will hit 27 and hold a pretty steady 24-26 under load set stock.

I concur with stacks...the bighead with it's larger diaphragm will hold the boost without blowing off as easily as a stock waste-gate...I run the moonshine and the bighead is set to blow off at 33-34psi...

Thanx alot guys i guess a
banks big head is in my future. Iv got an efi live tune but im guna buy the program so i can do what i want but suncoast v with nillet input out put flexplaye an 5 to6 speed convert an converter is next on my list my trans gave me
the finger

I've heard questionable things about the SunCoast 5-6 speed conversion

I would call MikeL he is currently working on one IIRC

billet shafts?

What kind of HP you plan on running?

below 600 rwhp you should be safe with stock...but it doesn't hurt to overbuild just in case...

I plan on puttin down as mutch as possible an i fig if i build the trans to the max its one less thing to do later my goal is to dailey driver it around 800hp but it all comes as my budget allows an all the work is gettin dne by me cause i havnt foumd any diesel performance shops in okc an i love workin on my own truck.. Any pointers or suggestions would be greatly appritiated
