I'm pretty sure my trucks got a decent amount of blow by. I took off the oil fill cap and pulled the dip stick and there was smoke comin out of both. My cdr valve isn't hooked into my intake anymore I've jus got a hose goin to the ground and smoke is comin out of it to. Does this cause white smoke on start up too jus bc there isnt enough pressure in the cylinders. I usually get quite a bit when it's cold in the morning and a lil puff after its warm. I changed all the glow plugs when I first bought it and it started a 100% better so I know they're workin. Looks lyk it may be time for a rering kit.

Try hooking up the cdr again it will greatly decrease the smoke coming out. I've got 217000 on mine now and it's getting some blowby too. Starts and runs great though.
