Earlier in the Summer I noticed that my engine block cord had come loose and the metal prongs were draging on the ground and are now little stubs. I know that 2 prong plugs can be replaced (My parents controlled my tv watching when I was a kid with them since they remove easily), but can the 3 progs be repaired/replaced easily?

If you mean the actual 'plug' end that plugs into the extension cord then yes, very easy.

Go to a hardware stoer and buy the end and it will unscrew and hook-up wires. Should all be colored/labeled inside new plug for easy assembly.

Do some searches for the 'zip-tie' mod. Hell, i'll just tell ya. Put a zip-tie around the engine block heater cord, then tighten the zip-tie. The goal here, is to prevent the cord from dragging on the ground. :)

Or you can to go Napa and buy a new cord. If it's the one that came with the truck. They're like $12.
