Seems to be the best place everyone has found for it.

Anywhere outside the engine compartment. Front bumper, rear bumper (too far), behind the grill in front of the oil coolers (radiator area), under the skid plate, behind the license plate, under on the frame, etc.
NOT good places: intake, air box, next to battery, fender well, firewall.
It MUST be mounted on a heatsink. The bigger the better.
