Hi 3500GMC,
So would my HOA, luckily I have five vehicles!
Well my road to 6.5 perdition so far has cost me $2100 for the long-block from Ted’s. $750 in parts & labor to make a usable set of Ted’s heads. Next I need to tear down the least trashed block, bring it to the machine shop and have a cyl sleeve installed and new cam/main/rod bearings.
To tell you the truth, after I get done with this whole fiasco, I could have purchased a warranted 6.5 Opti from a local deal for equal or less $$$$! With the added bonus of being able to drive the Burb for the last 6 months!:nonod::nonod::nonod::nonod:
