I'm in the process of wiring up my back up camera.
I'm just sussing out the control and power wiring. Here's what I'm thinning right now:
I already tried a diode circuit, but no dice. Those big 35W lights pull right though the doping on the diode. Just too much difference in potential for what I currently have available to me.
System operation is this:
The far right hand circuit is the stock reverse switch and back up lights.
The second set of lights are my 35W floods, triggered off the stock reverse light circuit.
I need the back up camersa powered by the stock reverse circuit (IE comes on when switched in reverse) and from a manual switch, which is what you see on the left hand circuit.
The monitor only needs a 12V trigger wire to switch to the cam so it can be anywhere on the line where the camera sees 12V.
The relay network looks correct to me.
Anyone see problems with it?
