Anyone interested in Roller Rockers? Maybe group buy?

Will this get rid of that stupid plastic retainer?

I am about to change mine out this weekend along with my injectors and glows.

I just installed a set in my motor, drove it today, first thing I noticed was the idle rpm was a bit lower, enough that I had to turn the screw some... the rattle that was there is gone and almost sounds like it need a little adv on the timing ... all this compared to just the rocker change.. the fit is great..

Cool.
Im going to buy 4 sets on Monday. I'll give an awesome price on them. Once they are sold the price will go up on future sets.

108 views. First 4 sets will be sold very deeply discounted. So much I can't post the price. Call, email or PM me. When their gone their gone!

Why would idle rpm be lower? I would think they would free up a tiny bit of efficiency (reduced friction) and cause higher RPM with same preset fuel. Hope to hear it sometime and see if we can hear any difference in rocker clatter. I don't usually have a good ear but can hear a distinct and appreciable difference with a valve cover off vs on of most engines. I wouldn't expect that kind of difference but if they are quieter then that is a good selling point.

Wish I could buy a set but better not at this time. Keep us posted on what everyone thinks of install and performance.

Just had a thought, it seems these rockers come adjustable and non adjustable. Which is preferred for this application and why? And which ones are you getting, Leroy?

I'm going to use non adjustable.
Not really sure why you would need to adjust them, different cam/lifters maybe?? Possibly new valve seats?? decked block/heads?

OH! and the price I just PMed you and AK were for non adjustable.

Got some more info.

According to HS the 6.2 has 1.5 ratio.
and 6.5 has 1.6 ratio.
The HS rockers are available in 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7 in the non ajustable or adjustable styles. In the adjustable styles you will need shorter pushrods to accomidate the adjuster on the rocker.
The 1.6 non ajustable is the direct replacment/bolt on and go (and is the set Im going to use).
Right now there is two week lead time, so once ordered today I'll recieve in about two weeks.
If anyone wants anything other than 1.6 non adjustable (at the heavy discount price) let me know ASAP I'll be ordering around 1pm CST today.
