a guy posted a FS thread in the regular wheel & tire section. i told him to post in the correct section and he'll get more replies...and what happened? The thread was Black Holed, gone..not even moved.
 
Yeah I don't know why everyone wastes their time there anymore. All I use it for is the old articles.

Def. get the upgraded bulbs for them. I got them REAL 85w bulbs in mine, not the 55w > 85w, and it wasn't impressive at all. Could be used to the HID fogs though.
 
If I put the 510's back on my Bull Bar, they aren't getting less than 130w Bulbs.

It's the Size of them that's cutting down on the Light Output. 520's have better Output, but the bigger Lamp you can fit, the better the Output.

mmm.i just had to replace one of my piaa 540 bulbs the other day and i didnt kno they made better bulbs for them.imo the piaa 540 and 510's that i have are not worth the money.i need to grow a pair and order hids for thos piaa lights.well quess the 510 fogs are ok but the 540 isnt that impressive.
 
I'm using 510's and 520's, both with either 130 or 150 watt bulbs. They're plenty bright but I dont use them much. They melt my fuses too so I cant do any distance traveling with them on. I think my wiring is a bit small for the bulbs. Thats the only thing I can think of is the juice is getting squeezed and the fuse is getting way too hot.
